Cookie policy
Who is responsible
This policy explains which cookies and similar storage technologies are used by the website www.catalunyaservei.com (Catalunya Servei). The controller is the owner of this website, whose details appear in the legal notice. For any question about cookies or data protection, write to rgpd@catalunyaservei.com.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information from one page to the next or between visits. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage (localStorage), which this website uses for some of its own features.
Cookies and storage used by this website
This is the complete list of what may be stored in your browser when you visit this website:
| Name | Owner | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
nb_consent (local storage) | this website (catalunyaservei.com) | Stores your choice in the cookie notice (accept or reject) so you are not asked again on every page. | Until you clear your browsing data | Technical (necessary) |
nb_t_call, nb_t_whatsapp, nb_t_form (local storage) | this website (catalunyaservei.com) | Prevent the same call, WhatsApp message or form submission from being recorded twice if you press the button several times in a row. | 1 hour | Technical (necessary) |
nb_exit_popup_seen (local storage) | this website (catalunyaservei.com) | Remembers that you have already seen the notice shown when you are about to leave the website, so it is not shown again. | 30 days | Preferences |
nb_first, nb_last (local storage) | this website (catalunyaservei.com) | Remember how you reached the website (search engine, link or campaign of origin; never your name or contact details) so we know which channel works. They only leave your browser if you call us, message us on WhatsApp or send the form on the website. | 90 days (first visit) and 30 days (last visit) | First-party analytics |
_ga | Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4) | Distinguish visitors for statistical purposes. | 2 years | Analytics (only if you accept) |
_ga_<ID> | Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4) | Keep the session state for visit statistics. | 2 years | Analytics (only if you accept) |
__cf_bm | Cloudflare, Inc. | Only if Cloudflare's protection systems need it: tell people from bots and protect the website against attacks. | 30 minutes of inactivity | Technical (security) |
cf_clearance | Cloudflare, Inc. | Only if you are shown a security check: remembers that you have passed it. | As set by Cloudflare | Technical (security) |
Google Analytics does not give us your name, email or phone number: we get aggregated statistics (pages visited, device type, where the visit came from).
How Google analytics works here
The website loads Google Tag Manager, a Google service used to manage the Google Analytics 4 tag. Before it loads, the website tells Google that consent is denied by default (Google Consent Mode). Until you press «Accept», Google Analytics neither sets nor reads cookies.
Even if you do not accept, Google may receive cookieless pings (for example, that a page was viewed, with technical browser data and no identifiers), which it uses for aggregated statistical estimates. If you prefer to avoid this entirely, you can block Google services in your browser or with an extension.
Cloudflare statistics
The website also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures visits and loading speed in aggregate without cookies or local storage and without identifying anyone.
Legal basis
Technical, security and preference cookies and storage are used because they are necessary for the website to work and to provide the service you request; they are exempt from consent under article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI).
Google Analytics cookies are only used with your consent (article 22.2 LSSI and article 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
The visit-origin data stored by the website itself (nb_first and nb_last) is only sent to us together with your request when you contact us, and is processed as explained in the privacy policy.
How to accept, reject or withdraw consent
The first time you visit, a notice appears with two buttons of equal prominence: Accept and Reject. If you reject, the website works exactly the same.
After choosing, you will see a small round button with a cookie (🍪) in the bottom-left corner of the screen, «Cookie settings». Press it to see the notice again and change your decision whenever you like: withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
You can also delete this website's cookies and local storage from your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). If you delete them, the notice will appear again on your next visit.
If you withdraw consent, Google Analytics stops using cookies from that moment; any already stored disappear when you delete them from your browser.
International transfers
Google (Google Ireland Limited, with possible access by Google LLC from the United States) and Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) may process data outside the European Economic Area. These companies participate in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and apply the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
